Real Estate
Our in-house collectors and attorneys represent commercial real estate developers, property managers and real estate investments trusts that are interested in recovering on breached contracts. The focus on real estate recovery effort is to combine the best features of a collection agency with a collection law firm.
When contract terms are violated and the tenant does not have the ability to pay the rent, MCA completes a thorough investigation of the debtor and or business to determine the willingness and likelihood for repaying the delinquent debt. This is accomplished by skip tracing the account to determine whether the customer has assets or is employed with or owns additional companies. Assigned accounts are taken from pre-suit collections negotiation straight through the litigation process. If necessary, the account may go through the execution stages and filing of liens to assure our client optimum results in a timely manner.
The firm of Meyer Christian & Associates counsels and represents clients in regard to the following real estate issues:
- Enforcement of judgment
- Unlawful detainer/eviction
- Tenant abandonment
- Delinquent association fees
- Asset searches
Skip Tracing and Asset Investigation plays a major roll in achieving the optimum results in loss recovery. MCA utilizes a combination of the latest technology and investigative recovery methods to locate individuals and businesses. We can determine the entity of a business whether the company is active or inactive through the California Business Portal website. Additionally, MCA determines whether the debtor is operating an additional LLC Corporation or Limited Liability Company. MCA reports to all three major credit reporting bureaus.
